Members of the National Football Cheerleaders Spirit of Service (NFCSOS) came together in Newport Beach for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk, supporting the fight against breast cancer and celebrating the strength of survivors, families and communities affected by the disease.
Dressed in pink and carrying plenty of cheer spirit, members of our Orange County community walked together at Fashion Island in support of Susan G. Komen’s mission to advance research, provide patient support and help create a world without breast cancer.
For NFCSOS, the morning represented exactly what Spirit of Service is all about—bringing the sisterhood of professional cheerleaders together to make a difference beyond the sidelines.
The event was especially meaningful as we continue building opportunities for current and former professional cheerleaders to reconnect while giving back to the communities where they live today.
This year marked our organization’s first Susan G. Komen walk, and we look forward to making it an Orange County tradition while encouraging future chapters and members across the country to support breast cancer organizations and other important causes in their own communities.
Nearly everyone knows someone whose life has been touched by breast cancer—a family member, friend, colleague or teammate. Coming together in support of those currently facing breast cancer, survivors and those we have lost is a powerful reminder of what can happen when sisterhood and service come together.

Thank you to everyone who walked, supported and donated to Team NFCSOS and Susan G. Komen.
Our time on the sidelines may have brought us together, but our opportunity to make a difference extends far beyond them.
